Synopsis
updatestate(f, method)


Description
Updates the GUI to reflect the currect state of the tool. This function is used by toolmanager. See documentation of the toolmanager for details about ``methods'' used to update the GUI.



Arguments

f   Glish variable for the GUI to be updated
    Default: ''
method   The method to be used for updating
    Allowed: 'INIT','DONE',or 'close'
    Default: 'INIT'
